In The Community

The doctors and staff at Wooddell & Passaro believe strongly in giving back to the community.

For many years, the doctors have volunteered to treat a number of disabled patients referred to them by the Maryland State Dental Association. They also donate their time and skills on a regular basis to the Stanton Center, an outreach center in Annapolis.

We also support local charitable organizations, schools and sports teams through donations.

Each year, the doctors and staff participate in a fundraising event to raise money for a charity that has special meaning for the office or a colleague. In the past, the doctors and staff of Wooddell & Passaro along with the doctors and staff of other local dental, oral surgery, periodontal and orthodontia offices have coordinated and participated in bowl-a-thons and walks/races to benefit such organizations as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Pediatric Oncology Foundation at Johns Hopkins.

Most recently, our office coordinated “Steps Toward a Cure” a walk/run raising over $30,000 for the Tug McGraw Foundation for Neuro-oncology Research after one of our own staff members was treated for a brain tumor. The practice has also been an ongoing supporter of Hospice of the Chesapeake.
